Cracked Rear View
It's so passé to hate Hootie that the great chain of passé-ness has rotated 180 degrees and now it's passé to say that they're underrated.
So sign me up for my monthly unlimited passé pass because I'm going to say it again: there's nothing wrong with "Cracked Rear View." I'm sure Stephen Thomas Erlewine probably says something nearly identical to this in the horribly-redesigned allmusic.com: they're a bar band made good. Give it a rest, music snobs of 1994. The one-two punch of "Hold My Hand" and "Let Her Cry" will drop you if you let it.
I'm glad we've cleared that up.
